All levels of TPRS Publishing's curricula are based on high-frequency vocabulary / grammatical structures, with the underlying goal of teaching the top 1800 words in the language over the course of levels 1-3. Each curriculum contains 3 essential components: 1) Teacher's Manual 2) Student Reader 3) Student textbook. The Teacher's Manual is extremely teacher-friendly, with comprehensive lessons that are aligned with the 3 steps to TPRS (Show/Vocabulary, Tell/Ask a Story, Read). Each lesson contains step-by-step instructions, including suggestions for gestures, personalized questions and story-asking outlines. The Student Reader contains daily readings that provide 20-30 additional reps of the lesson's vocabluary, and the student textbook provides an abundance of reading, listening, and writing practice to help student gain fluency in the Target Language.
